Clifton has been at Georgia Highlands College since 2010, when he started the intramural program on the Cartersville Site. Before coming to GHC, he was a graduate assistant at Berry College where he ran the intramural program and helped coordinate the brand new Cage Athletic & Recreation Center. At GHC, he served as the director of the Cartersville Student Center and Student Life Coordinator, where he oversaw the day-to-day operations of the facility and coordinated student activities at the Cartersville Site. Now as the Co-curricular and Transition Programs Coordinator his goal is to increase retention and student success through campus vibrancy and programming that complements what students are learning in the classroom. He also oversees the Charge Into Leadership Program and has worked in both Admissions and Enrollment Management at GHC. He is married with a son, and in his spare time he officiates high school and college football.
