How do I register?

You can register by filling out the short form on the HWC website.

What is the fee to register?

We are thrilled to offer the 2021 conference at no charge to participants! There is no registration fee.


How are the workshops structured?

Workshops are scheduled for one hour and thirty minutes. There are four workshops to choose from, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. Participants may attend one morning workshop and one afternoon workshop in addition to the afternoon author’s conversation and screenwriting panel. Specific workshop genres and invited writers are available for participants to preview on the HWC website.

How is the screenwriting panel structured?

An afternoon publishing panel will offer insights into screenwriting and some of the opportunities for screenwriters in the Rome and Atlanta area. Conference participants will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A immediately following the panelists’ presentation.

When should I arrive?

The conference is fully online this year, so there’s no need to travel anywhere. Participants can log into the main Zoom room between 9:15 and 9:30 am for a conversation facilitated by Dr. Jessica Lindberg.

How do I get to the Highlands Writers Conference?

When you register, we will send you the Zoom link so you can log in and join us on the day of the conference from the comfort and safety of your own home.
