*Capstone Presentations

Capstone presentations may include, but are not necessarily limited to, participation in a Georgia Highlands College research symposium, legacy recorded presentations, or other forms of dissemination of honors work, at the discretion of the Honors Director, in consultation with the Honors Advisory Council. The capstone presentation requires an honors student to present an honors project to an audience beyond the requirements of the individual project. For example, if an honors project in English required an analytical essay and a presentation in class, this would satisfy the requirements for the honors credits in the English course. To satisfy the capstone requirement, the student could then take that completed honors project and present it at the GHC Academic Showcase, a regional or state undergraduate research conference, etc. To satisfy your capstone requirement, submit evidence of your completion to the Honors Director (conference program, recording, etc).
