The Honors Program at Georgia Highlands College promotes academic excellence, offers opportunities for intellectual engagement, fosters community for highly motivated students, and develops young adults who will become leaders among their peers, in the campus community, and in the larger social world.

The GHC Honors Program is distinct from but cooperates with the GHC Phi Theta Kappa organization.

The GHC Honors Program has been a recognized member of the Georgia Collegiate Honors Council, the Southern Regional Honors Council, and the National Collegiate Honors Council.
