New Faculty Academy (NFA) is a two to three year program that supports new full-time faculty. Faculty participate in a faculty learning community which meets approximately one time a month and is centered around their needs as new faculty. Content and topics include exploring GHC as an organization, policies and procedures of the college, teaching and learning instructional strategies, teaching with technology, and pedagogy considerations. Once faculty complete their first year at GHC, they will continue to participate through workshops and mentorship programs for other new faculty.
