ENGL 1102: Freshman Composition II
Course Description
Writing is a powerful tool used in nearly every environment, and it can be a very efficient, or very sloppy, method for sharing and discussing our perspectives about anything and everything. This class will give you a chance to examine and write about a variety of perspectives, including your own. This class will build on what you learned in ENGL 1101, further honing your research and writing skills.
Attendance
This web-based class will be delivered via D2L. The class will “meet” at least 2 times during the semester using Microsoft Teams, a video chat program free to GHC students. Multiple days and times as well as an alternate assignment will available for required meetings; students can choose which they prefer.
Required Materials
This course uses OER’s (open educational resources). These are free and available online, so no books need to be purchased.

Prerequisites
Earning a C or better in ENGL 1101.
