ENGL 1101: Freshman Composition I
Course Description
Good writing skills are essential to successful completion of college, and skilled writers are highly sought after in the job market. This course will introduce you to a variety of writing forms and the nuances of writing for different audiences. It will hone basic writing skills and develop more advanced ones along with introducing you to library research.
Attendance
This web-based class will be delivered via D2L. Students are expected to log in 2-3 times each week and complete work by the posted deadlines.
Required Materials
This course uses OER’s (open educational resources). These are free and available online, so no books need to be purchased.
