Welcome to the School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The School offers high-quality associate degree pathways and general education courses in the biological sciences, engineering, computer science, mathematics, and the physical sciences. The STEM faculty and staff are dedicated to the success of our students, and we are committed to transforming teaching and learning through the use of innovative pedagogies, technology, and experiential opportunities. Courses within the school are designed to instruct students in effective use of the scientific method, mathematical analysis, and computer technologies, and to provide students with the critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary to succeed in STEM. Students who complete a STEM degree at GHC pursue a bachelor’s degree and/or a career in a variety of scientific, medicinal, education, or technical disciplines.
