Georgia Highlands College has begun the process of revising our Strategic Plan. We started in summer 2024 with surveying internal stakeholders to determine the current Strategic Plan’s alignment with the College’s Mission and Values. We also asked these stakeholders if GHC needed to write a new Strategic Plan or refresh the current Plan. Internal Stakeholders responded that a refresh was more appropriate as the Strategic Plan still aligned well with GHC’s Mission and Values.

The next step in the process was to do S.W.O.T. Analysis. The S.W.O.T. analysis asked various members of the college community to examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats based on the 4 existing strategic priorities.

Moving forward, we will be hosting Strategic Planning Focus Groups to help decide and narrow down GHC’s vision into Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Focus Groups will be held on every campus/site as well as virtually during February and March. The schedule and invite can be found, below.
