How to Meet with an Advisor

Appointment Advising at GHC

At the start of each semester and until registration opens, you can use Navigate to schedule an appointment with your advisor.
We will use this time to create an academic plan and answer any questions you have.
Appointments can be scheduled face to face or virtually using Microsoft Teams.
The appointments are 30 to 45 minutes in length.

Drop-In advising starts once registration opens.
No appointment necessary. Simply arrive at your campus advising office or sign into the Virtual Hub.
Students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
Wait times to see an advisor can vary, so plan accordingly.
Drop-In hours may change throughout the semester to better accommodate high-traffic advising times.
Services available during drop-in advising: questions or information on the current or upcoming semester, questions on prerequisite courses, and providing students with resources for growth and autonomy in the registration process.
Drop-In advising is 10-15 minutes in length.
