Georgia Public High School EDUC 2110, 2120, 2130 Program Completion
Program Requirements for CPL Credits
Effective Fall 2025, admitted students from Georgia public high schools who successfully meet the following requirements are eligible to receive CPL credit for EDU 2110, 2120, or 2130 as determined by the Education Subject Matter Expert at GHC.
- Passing either set of three Education Pathway courses with a grade of “C” or better:
- Teaching as a Profession Pathway
- 13.01100: Examining the Teaching Profession
- 13.01200: Contemporary Issues in Education
- 13.01300: Teaching as a Profession Practicum
- Early Childhood Care and Education Pathway
- 20.52810 – Early Childhood Education I
- 20.42400 – Early Childhood Education II
- 20.42500 – Early Childhood Education III or
20.42600 – Early Childhood Education Practicum
- Teaching as a Profession Pathway
- Completion of a portfolio as part of the Pathway’s course requirements
- Passing of the statewide assessment
- Students who successfully completed both pathways and the other 2 requirements may receive up to six (6) college credit hours in EDU 2110, 2120, or 2130 as determined by the Education Subject Matter Expert at GHC.
Proof of Program Requirement Completion
A signed letter from a high school official indicating the requirements and that they were met successfully is required to be awarded this CPL credit.
Note: Credit will be awarded as K credit. GHC does not guarantee the transferability of K credit.
