About me

I received my bachelors degree from Kennesaw State University in Biology and my Masters from the University of Central Arkansas in Biology. My research has been in aquatic ecology, ichthyology, aquatic entomology, and vertebrate Zoology.

I have been teaching since 2010, with GHC since 2013, in general biology for majors and non-majors, Zoology, Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2, and Nutrition.

Starting in Summer of 2015 I have begun a wildlife management plan for the Floyd Campus, integrating my Biology and Zoology courses into field work and real world experience. My goal is to better manage the nature reserve and wetlands associated with the Floyd Campus of GHC and increase the fisheries of Paris Lake, while allowing students and members of the community to learn and appreciate their natural resources all around them.

I personally enjoy spending time outside hiking, fishing, and anything I can do with my Family.
