Associate Degree Dental Hygiene Program
Program Information
The Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene is a two-year associate degree program. One class is accepted each year and once admitted, the program will take 5 consecutive semesters to complete. A strong math/science academic background is recommended. Applications are due March 15th of every year for the following fall semester program start. The program is offered only at the Heritage Hall location in downtown Rome, Georgia.
The dental hygiene program at GHC is a competitive admittance program. Students seeking entrance to the ASDH degree will initially be admitted and enrolled in the Associate of Science in Health Professions degree while attempting to complete prerequisite courses needed to apply and be admitted to the ASDH degree program.
