Phlebotomy Technician – Floyd

Train to become a Phlebotomy Technician in as little as 3 months! As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be trained to draw blood samples from patients in a clinical laboratory or public health setting, producing quality results while gaining the trust and confidence of your patients. Receive hands-on training in venipuncture, capillary draws, heel sticks, and non-blood specimens. Topics covered include anatomy of the circulatory system, medical terminology, quality assurance, HIPAA, and infection control. CPR certification and NHA certification exam and exam prep materials included in tuition.

Must be 18+ years. A high school diploma or GED is required for NHA certification.

Location: GHC Floyd Campus

Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays – 6 PM – 8:30 PM, April 8, 2025 – July 10, 2025 (no class on 6/19 and 7/3)

Cost:$1,699 (includes lab supplies, CPR certification, certificate of completion, NHA exam prep and exam, textbooks and scrubs purchased separately)

Interest Free Payment Plan: $799 due at registration, $300 due on April 15, May 15, and June 15
