Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Become a Certified Nursing Assistant with our in-demand program!
Georgia Highlands College offers the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certificate program through the Center for Continuing and Professional Education. This comprehensive course includes 102 hours of classroom instruction, hands-on lab training, and clinical practice. Classes are held at the GHC Cartersville Campus on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the State of Georgia CNA Certification exam.
Registration Fee
The registration fee includes instruction, textbooks, workbooks, required supplies, clinical supervision, and the cost of the exam. Students are responsible for the cost of the background check, drug screen, and scrubs. Students will receive information on how to complete the background check and drug screen upon registration.
Financial Aid
Continuing and Professional Education is excited to announce that financial aid is now available for select programs!
Limited financial assistance may be available through Tallatoona CAP, Inc. for income eligible participants in the CNA program. For more information please call 770-773-7730 Ext. 123.

Program Documents
Upon registration for the CNA program, you will receive a separate email detailing the requirements for attendance. It is important that you carefully review all documentation to ensure full compliance with the program prior to the first day of class.
