GHC’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) enables users to send and receive data over the shool’s private network remotly, as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network.

Faculty and staff may use our VPN software to connect to onsite resources while working remotely. VPN services are not currently offered to students.
The following systems and services are only available while working at a GHC instructional location or by using our VPN:
- GHC’s Intranet (faculty & staff website)
- Banner Student Information System (administrative functions & reporting tools)
- Employee network shares (“P-Drive”)
- Remote Desktop and Remote App services
Yes. Employees should first consult with the IT Bring Your Own Device Policy and Standard to ensure their device meets our security requirements. Setup instructions for our VPN software are available online.
