Microsoft 365 (Email)
Georgia Highlands College is proud to offer Microsoft 365 for student email and collaboration. Microsoft 365 offers many additional benefits including an easily manageable calendar, mobile device support, and access to cloud-based Microsoft software. Students may also download a copy of the latest version of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook for Windows or macOS.

Sign in to your student email and click on the Microsoft 365 logo on the top left corner of the page for a download link. Once you’ve installed the software, follow the instructions in the setup wizard to activate your copy of Microsoft 365 with your student email address.
Students should set their initial password for their account by using the password reset link or by clicking the forgot password link on the Student Sign-on page.
Your email account’s maximum mailbox size is 50 GB.
The maximum email attachment size is 150 MB.
Your email account and Office 365 license will expire one semester after the last semester that you attend classes. Georgia Highlands College strongly recommends that you use a personal email account for online activities unrelated to your attendance at GHC such as file storage, social media, and/or online banking.
GHC Student accounts are removed one semester after a semester of non-attendance so your GHC email is no longer available. If you need access to a transcript one can be obtained through your Charger Portal.
After a name change a new account is created with your new name. Your new account password can be set by using the password reset link or by clicking the forgot password link on the Student Sign-on page. Please note that your old email will not be transferred to your new email so you will need to forward anything you want to keep asap as your old account will be removed.
You can access your student email on most phones and mobile devices with the Microsoft Outlook app. This app can be downloaded from the App Store on IOS devices and Google Play on Android devices. Sign-in using your student email address once the app is installed to your mobile device.
