GHC is happy to welcome your students to our Dual Enrollment Program!

How do my students register for classes?

GHC's DE students do not register themselves.  Students should first speak with their high school to determine their course options.  The student will then complete and submit the GHC DE Course Request Form that is emailed to them.  GHC will verify the course(s) the student is requesting has been entered on their DE Funding Application by their high/home school then register the student and email a registration confirmation to them.

GHC requires that the student's approved courses be entered in their DE Funding Application by the high school prior to registration.

How do I get my students' final grades?

After final grades have been submitted by instructors and finalized by the Registrar, which is typically 2 - 3 days after the published "Final Grades Due" date on GHC's Academic Calendar, each high school that had DE students attending for that semester will be sent two emails.  One with a password protected Excel spreadsheet with your students' final grades (using alpha. format) and one containing the password.

If there is a question about a reported grade, either the student or high school should contact GHC's Dual Enrollment Coordinator.

What if a student needs a numerical grade?

If a numerical grade is needed to by the high school (usually for determination of class ranking), either the student or high school can make this request to GHC's Dual Enrollment Coordinator.  The electronic DE Numerical Grade Request Form will be sent to the student to fill out and then will route to the instructor.  The high school will receive a copy of the completed form.

GHC DE cohort class offerings on your campus.

GHC collaborates with high schools for a variety of GHC DE classes to be hosted on high school/CCA campuses.

The majority of GHC cohorts on high school campuses are full face to face, but there are other possible options such as hybrid or virtual classes. GHC will work with you to fit your needs! Learn more about GHC DE Cohorts.

GHC cords for honors programs and graduation.

For high schools that allow their student's to wear GHC cords for meeting the high school's requirements to do so, please watch for the email that will be requesting the number of cords you need.  GHC will either deliver these to the school or mail via USPS.
