Benefits
- Dual Enrollment students that transition to a new freshman with GHC receive priority admission decisions and registration.
- All previous student logins and ID numbers remain the same.
- GHC offers many areas of study in career, transfer, and bachelor degree programs.
- Save on tuition with GHC's low tuition cost by earning core requirements or an associate degree before transferring to another institution.
- Credits earned at GHC are guaranteed to transfer to any other University System of Georgia institution.
- If an associates degree is earned and GHC, the entire degree will transfer to any USG school and satisfy their degree requirements.
Dual Enrollment to New Freshman Process
- Email dualenroll@highlands.edu and request the Dual Enrollment to New Freshman Transition Application. Look for the electronic AdobeSign Transition Application in your GHC student email inbox.
- Have your final high school transcript with your graduation date on it sent to GHC.
- Monitor your Check Admissions Status page for outstanding documents, holds, and to monitor your status.
- Contact an Academic Advisor to be registered after being admitted as a freshman.
- Complete the Orientation process for new freshmen.
