Teams can have between one (1) and four (4) GHC students.

No. Students are encouraged to form interdisciplinary teams. Diversified teams bring different points of view and knowledge from a variety of subject areas.

Team Workshops/Seminars are pre-recorded sessions designed to help teams prepare for the CIC pitch day. Since seminars are pre-recorded, teams may access them multiple times at their leisure.

Team Workshops/Seminars will be added periodically. Make sure you check the Team Workshops/Seminars's page frequently for updates.

Visual aids are required.

There are two (2) rounds of competition in the CIC.

The first round is the Virtual Round which runs until registration closes. The Virtual Round consists of our judges reading through and scoring your submission.

The second and final round is held on Pitch Day. This is where teams will present their idea in front of the judges.

The Virtual Round is when you will prepare the following information.

• Brief description of the innovation and the problem it solves
  • What is the idea, and what does it do?
• Value proposition
  • Does it fill a void/solve a problem in the market?
  • What impact will it have on the problem?
• Points of difference
  • Are there existing/similar products or services available?
    • How is your innovation different?
• Market analysis
  • What is the void being filled?
  • What is the target market/customer?
  • Is there room for growth?
• Revenue model (You will provide more details on Pitch Day)
  • How will your innovation make money?
