Phlebotomy Technician **Not Scheduled for Spring 2021**

Cost:  $1,499 (includes lab supplies, NHA exam and exam preparation materials, certificate of completion; textbook(s) and scrubs purchased separately)

Optional 40-Hour Externship:  $300

Payment Plan:  $749 due at registration, $250 due on TBD, $250 due on 12/5, $250 due on TBD

Sample Schedule:  Mondays & Thursdays, 6 PM – 8 PM

Mondays are lab days and will be held on campus. To ensure student safety, PPE including gowns, gloves, masks, and goggles will be provided, and temperature checks will be performed at the beginning of each class. Social distancing of 6 feet will be required except when performing skills.

Description:  As a Phlebotomy Technician, you will be trained to draw blood samples from patients in a clinical laboratory or public health setting, producing quality results while gaining the trust and confidence of your patients. Receive hands-on training in venipuncture, capillary draws, heel sticks, and non-blood specimens. Topics covered include anatomy of the circulatory system, medical terminology, quality assurance, HIPAA, and infection control. Tuition also covers CPR certification, NHA certification exam, and exam prep materials.
