Please join us in welcoming Brittney Barron, Academic Advisor, to our Georgia Highlands College community. Brittney’s primary location will be the Douglasville Site.

Brittney is from Douglasville, Georgia. She attended Mercer University for both her undergraduate and graduate studies. She has a Bachelor of Social Science Human Services and a Master of Education, Higher Educational Leadership, Academic Advising Concentration. Brittney has had two positions at Mercer University. She started her career as an Admission Counselor for Post-Traditional students. Her most recent position at Mercer University was Director of Undergraduate Retention for the Regional Academic Centers.

Brittney’s hobbies include: spending time with her husband, Chris, taking their dogs on walks, spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and attending church activities. She attends Crossroads in Douglasville and she is also Co-Chair of Youth Leadership Douglas for the 2017-2018 academic year.
