Georgia Highlands College celebrated Sophomore night tonight at the Lady Chargers last regular season home game and the sophomores did not disappoint defeating Chattahoochee Tech 73-21
The Lady Chargers were led by VaQueshia Hall with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Skye Overby with 14 points and 9 rebounds, and Michaela Suttles with 14 points . Aujana Dawkins had 10 rebounds on the night. “ I was glad to see our ladies finish strong tonight, hopfulley this will give us some momentum going into the conference tournament next week”, said Lady Charger head coach Brandan Harrell.
The Lady Chargers finish the season 15-15 and 12-6 in GCAA Conference play.
GHC will host a first round GCAA conference tournament game on Tuesday at 6:00pm. Opponent to be determined .
