Your Work Deserves to be Shared!

Students, faculty, and staff at Georgia Highlands College engage in high-quality academic work throughout the year. From those just starting their educational journey as first-year students to our outstanding faculty and staff members, your work deserves to be shared with others. By presenting at the academic showcase, students will be more competitive in applying to baccalaureate programs or graduate school, improve their resume or CV, and gain valuable experience communicating complex ideas with others.

Be it class projects, personal research, posters, artwork, music, writing, video production, or just about anything else, we want to you share it at the GHC Academic Showcase.     9:00 – Judges Meeting, Gymnasium, Student Center Building B

  • Posters & Exhibits

    9:30-11:30 – Posters in Gymnasium, Student Center Building B

    Exhibits in Atrium, Student Center Building B

  • Luncheon & Keynote

    11:30-12:30 – Ballroom, Student Center Building B

  • Awards Ceremony

Please note: All posters will be printed for free by the GHC Libraries.

Join the Festival!

This will be a festival of your learning experiences. Through presentations in different formats, we will celebrate the outstanding students, faculty, and staff at GHC. You can choose to present a poster or an exhibit. Learn more about the details of submitting a proposal.

Get Stuff!

First place student submissions in each track will get $250. Second place student submissions will get $100.
Must be present to win.

All presenters will get T-Shirts!



The Georgia Highlands College Academic Showcase aligns with strategic initiatives of the University System of Georgia, such as Momentum Approach. The Academic Showcase is supported by the administration of GHC. It also serves as GHC’s Best Practices Teaching Symposium.
