Important Announcements

• T-shirts will be delivered to your Campus Dean next week. Be sure to wear you Charger Kick-off t-shirt as we will be taking a picture that day.
• Plan to arrive at the Floyd/Rome campus by 7:45 a.m. to check in via QR code. Welcome starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. You will receive a goodie bag of snacks and a raffle ticket to win additional prizes throughout the morning. We will not have a breakfast available but will have coffee, water, etc.
• Don’t forget about the food drive for our food pantry. Competition between campus locations for bragging rights until next year. Let’s support our students who need extra food. Bring items that day or donate money to support.
• All those receiving service awards for years of service (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 years) will be recognized.
• Employee awards are back this year! All winners will receive a recognition award. Faculty of the year, Staff of the Year and Part-Time Faculty of the Year will receive cash awards.
• The Silent Auction will be in the back of the gym this year instead of the Solarium. The auction will end at 11:30 a.m. Be sure to stop by. We have great items!
• Four committees have sessions this year. If you are member of one of those committees, you will need to sign up to attend the committee meeting.
• President Mike Hobbs will deliver the State of the College address. He will be sharing outcomes form the 2023 Presidential Summit.

We hope this day is a fun-filled celebration with opportunities to connect with and learn from your colleagues. It is the one time of the year that all five locations can come together to celebrate each other. See you there!
