Hello Chargers,

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and GHC staff supports mental health awareness.  Earlier in the semester, our very own, Jenny Smith, Disability Support Specialist and Sherrie Beideck, Assistant Director, Registrar provided Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training to Nursing students and faculty.  There were 58 students and faculty certified!  Great job Jenny and Sherrie!  Many other staff have already completed Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) training.  QPR teaches non-mental health trained persons how to respond to someone in crisis.  Show your support for Mental Health Awareness.
