GHC’s Alpha Psi Omicron chapter of Phi Theta Kappa took home numerous awards during the Georgia PTK Spring Regional Conference this past weekend in Atlanta.

Top Distinguished College Project  

Top Distinguished Honors in Action  

Top Distinguished Chapter  

Distinguished Officer Team: April Cole, Katie Weatherford, Laila McCleery, and Labeeba Shafique 

Distinguished Honors in Action (HIA) Theme 3-Systems of Play  

Distinguished Administrator: Chief Academic Officer and Provost Sarah Coakley 

Advisor Horizon Award-5-Star Chapter: Associate Professor of History, PTK Honor Society Lead Advisor and Associate Regional Coordinator Karen Huggin; Librarian Betsy Fleming; and Associate Professor of Mathematics Vincent Manatsa 

Sarah Anne Staples Award: April Cole 

Hall of Honor 2nd Runner-up: Laila McCleery
