How Should Employees View/Apply to Internal Job Postings?

By following the steps below, employees are able to see internal postings as well as apply for jobs as an employee with the University System of Georgia. Employees should not apply using the external job portal, as it does not show internal job openings that are available. Please copy and paste the link below to view the entire job aid.

Prerequisite(s):
Employees must apply for internal jobs at the institution where they are a current employee via OneUSG Connect, not at the institution’s external careers site.

Instructions

  1. Log in to OneUSG Connect.
  2. Navigate to the Recruiting Self Service Panel.Navigation:
    Employee Self Service > Recruiting Self Service > Apply for Jobs
  3. Click the Apply For Jobs tile.
     View All Jobs Shows all Job Postings. Applicant can sort or filter accordingly.
     My Job Notifications View online offers, disposition, interview notification, etc.
     My Job Applications Stores current Job Applications that are in progress and those submitted.
     My Favorite Jobs Stores favorite jobs.
     My Saved Searches Search criteria that has been previously saved by the Applicant. No need to rebuild complicated searches.
     My Contact Information Review contact information. As an employee, you cannot change your name or contact information here. You must use Employee Self Service.
