Please joining us in welcoming Ashlyn Bates to her new position as Laboratory Coordinator at Georgia Highlands College’s Floyd Campus. Ashlyn is originally from Rockmart and currently resides in Silver Creek. She graduated from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.  She has previously served as an enrollment counselor for ABAC, traveling all over north Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee to recruit students. Fun fact: Ashlyn used to raise rabbits in high school as part of her FFA project. She has 4 dogs that she shares with her parents. 3 weenie dogs: Margo, Lilly, & Boo and a Sharpe Australian Shepherd mix named Patty.
