New Site Manager – Paulding

Please join us in congratulating Christina Henggeler on her promotion to Site Manager – Paulding. Beginning in March 2019, Christina served as Special Assistant – Campus Dean Paulding where she had the opportunity to grow into this new role.  An employee of Georgia Highlands College since 2015, Christina began her GHC career as the Enrollment Management Specialist for the Paulding Site.  Prior to joining GHC, she worked as the Office Manager of Patrick Law Group, an international transactional firm that provides services to fortune 100 companies. In that position, she coordinated the lawyers’ responsibilities, managed the facilities, and often traveled to meetings representing the law firm.

Christina earned her master’s degree from the University of Georgia in Educational Psychology, where her thesis was on Student Success in Gateway Courses. Her undergraduate degree is from The University of Alabama in Community Studies.

She is an active volunteer in the community serving on the governing board of Paulding’s College and Career Academy, the Paulding Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Committee,  the board of Fairfield Plantation Women’s Club where she assists with planning fund raisers, the Scholarship Committee at Villa Rica High School, and the Community Relations Committee which plans the local 4th of July parade, Christmas lighting, and various community events. Christina was recognized as Volunteer of the Year for 2016.

In her free time, she can be found meeting friends for trivia or board games, reading, re-watching Doctor Who, or outside with her camera. She is a bookworm who grew up to find her niche in academia.
