Please join us in welcoming Justin Polizzi to his role as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry. He was raised in Moreland, GA, south of Newnan, but he currently resides in quiet Cave Spring, GA. He graduated with a bachelor’s in Biology from University of West Georgia, and has a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from University of Georgia. His Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry Education is from Kennesaw State University. He was fortunate to be able to work with high school STEM teachers for outreach and research. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Middle Tennessee State University. He is a soccer enthusiast and collector of Boston Terriers. Give Justin a warm GHC welcome!
