Please be aware that a safety training exercise will be taking place September 18 (Tuesday) at the Cartersville location in the New Academic Building. The training will include an “Active Shooter Drill.”

The “Active Shooter Drill” with local law enforcement will be isolated to the new academic building. Local law enforcement will be on campus by 8am to begin securing the new academic building and setting up for the scenario-based training. Volunteers will arrive to the new academic building at 10am for CRASE training and instruction. The actual drill will begin at 11AM and end by 1130AM. Only students and faculty/staff who have volunteered to take part in the drill will be allowed into the new academic building. All other classes will resume as planned and will be unaffected by the drill.
