Looking to promote being in nature and experiencing the joys of hiking while lightly challenging our bodies and reinforcing that hiking is an activity open to all levels of fitness.

June Hike
Saturday June 23rd 9:30am
Berry College – Rome GA
Meet at the Viking lake parking area on the right at the start of 3 mile road heading toward mountain campus.
Bring plenty of water and a light snack.
Wear trail friendly closed toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
We will hike around Victory lake which is a little over a mile total and a flat easy hike. We will stop at the old picnic shed for a break and will check out the old boat house on our way back to the parking area.
For anyone who would like a longer more challenging hike we can loop back around and hike up old high school road to mountain campus and back. This old dirt road comes out near frost chapel and is about 3.25 miles one way.
July Hike will be Saturday July 14th at 9:30 am and will take place at Pine log creek trail in Bartow County.
