Floyd campus will be collecting change for the Charger Food Pantry during the month of June.  The Floyd Food Pantry is in immediate need of restocking for the Summer semester demand, and we need your help.

Through our connection with the local Food Bank we have the ability to purchase large amounts of food at a significant discount! For example, 1 case of beef stew (24 cans) = $2.58.  And 1 case of canned chicken (24 cans) = $1.32.

Donations of cash, give us tremendous purchasing power, and even the smallest donation can go a long way!

Collection jars will be located throughout the Floyd campus – Enrollment Services, Humanities, IT, Athletics, Business Office, Student Support Services, Library, and Math/Science.  Kyle Wheeless will be coming by the locations regularly to collect the funds.

Also, your cash contribution to purchase the food can be given at any GHC business office.  Checks can be made out to GHC, with Charger Food Pantry in the memo line.
