Congratulations are extended to Dr. Jesse R. Bishop for being selected as the new Dean for Placement, Assessment, Accreditation and Research.

Jesse graduated from GHC in 2002. He returned with his Masters in English from UWG in January 2005 as part-time Instructor in Developmental English and was hired full-time tenure track August 2007. Jesse was selected as a Governor’s Teaching Fellow for the 2010-2011 academic year as he was named Director of Diversity Initiatives. Since then, Jesse has served as an Instructional Designer and as Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning. Jesse was awarded his doctorate in April of 2015.

Dr. Bishop will begin his work in the PAAR Office on June 4.
