Thursday, March 8th is International Women’s Day, and GHC is hosting a special event on Floyd Campus to mark this day. From 11:30-1:30 we’re hosting female leaders of local industry and government in our #PressOn: Lean-In to Leadership career fair and panel. The career fair will take place in the student center from 11:30-12:30, and the speakers’ panel will follow in the solarium from 12:30-1:30. Please encourage your students to attend this rare opportunity to talk to leaders in local law enforcement, the courts, education, health care, and the arts, and please consider all opportunities to be generous with your class time if student exit a few minutes early or enter a few minutes late as they attend the event.
