If you have a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in 2017, but have elected the Consumer Choice Health Saving Account (HSA) healthcare plan in 2018, the IRS regulations require your Healthcare FSA balance to be zero by December 31, 2017, or you won’t be able to contribute to your HSA until April 1, 2018.  Learn more about an HSA.
