Please join us in welcoming Shakierya McClendon, Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach, to our Georgia Highlands College community. Shakierya’s primary location will be the Floyd Campus.

Shakierya is from Dooling, GA. She graduated from GHC in 2014 with an Associates of Science in General Studies, and from Shorter University in 2016 with Bachelors of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Psychology Minor. Shakierya has been a member of the “International Honor Society in Social Sciences (Pi Gamma Mu) Georgia Epsilon Chapter since 2015. Her previous position was as a probation officer at Georgia Probation Management in Fort Valley, Georgia.

Basketball and reading the bible are Shakierya’s stress relievers.
