The Charger baseball team achieved another program first this season, making their first ever appearance on the NJCAA DI Baseball Poll.  The Chargers were among several teams receiving votes in this edition of the national poll, likely due to the fact that Chargers have been red-hot lately, having just snapped an 11 game winning streak on Sunday.  The streak is more than double the previous mark, and has been marked by steady and efficient pitching and an opportunistic offense. 

The Chargers have one more series before they start conference play, hosting Three Rivers Community College this weekend at LakePoint.  Friday’s game will begin at 6PM, and Saturday’s doubleheader will begin at noon.
