Chargers get overtime win

Behind a strong performance by Ty Cockfield the Chargers fought back to win 101-95 in overtime on the road at South Georgia Tech. The Chargers coming off their first loss of the season on Wednesday struggled to find their rythum trailing at the end of the first half 45-39

Both teams traded baskets in the second half with GHC tying the game at 62 with 8:22 left in the game. The Chargers led 80-77 with 34 seconds remaining but South Georgia Tech tied the game to send to overtime.

The Chargers found a way in overtime to pull away for the win. the Chargers (23-1), (10-1) in conference play was led by Ty Cockfield with 31 points, assists, and 6 rebounds, Kyvon Davenport had 20 points, and Rico Bonds had 19 points. The Chargers return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Atlanta Metro College. Tip off 7:30pm.
