Pam Diokpara posted another double – double, 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Lady Chargers to a 62-45 win over Andrew College. GHC  (11-12), (5-1), in GCAA play, opened the game with a strong defensive effort holding the Lady Tigers to just 6 points in the opening period to lead 20-6. GHC went on its longest run of the night with a 18-3 run in the second period to lead 31-19 at the half.

Andrew outscored the Lady Chargers 12-10 in the 3rd period, cutting GHC’s lead to 10 with 6:00 minutes to play but that was close as the Lady Tigers would come. Other leading scorers for the Lady Chargers were Kanisha Tharpe with 12 points and 9 rebounds. and Sydney Garnigan was 3/4 from the three point line with 9 points.

GHC returns to action on Wednesday as they travel to Albany, GA to take on Albany Tech. Tip off 5:30pm
