Lady Chargers fall to Wallace State Hanceville

The GHC women returned from holiday break and traveled to Hanceville, Alabama to take on Wallace State. The Lady Chargers fell to Walters State 76-65. GHC held the game close most of the first half trailing 38-32 at the half. Wallace State extended their lead to 11 points 53-42 to end the third period of play. The Lady Chargers battled back  late in the fourth but it wasn’t enough. “We just didn’t come out with any intensity in the second half, Sydney Garnigan played really well. ” We have one more game before we get into conference play, we got to turn it around by then, said Lady Charger head coach Brandan Harrell. The Lady Chargers were led by Pam Diokpara with 20 points, Sydney Garnigan with 15 points, and Kateryna Khomenko with 13 points.  GHC goes to (6-10) on the season. GHC return to action at home at the Corral on Saturday versus Snead State. Tip off is 2:00pm.
