GHC Fall Expo – November 3rd – Douglasville Site

GHC to hold Fall Expo at Douglasville site

On November 3, Georgia Highlands College will be holding a Fall Expo at the Douglasville site from 4-7 p.m. This is the perfect opportunity for future students, parents, businesses, community members and other potential partners of the college to come see what GHC is all about.

We would love for as many GHC faces as possible to attend this event and show support for the college and the Douglasville site. If your GHC department has not already been contacted and you would like to participate with an information table for your area, please email Sheila Jones at shjones@highlands.edu by this Friday (Sept. 30).

This community reception will provide President Green the opportunity to personally meet and greet those in the Douglasville area at the GHC site and to introduce the new Douglasville campus dean (Connie Watjen), admissions officers, college leadership and more.

In addition, the event will include light refreshments, a chance to win a number of door prizes, and many faculty and staff members on hand to answer questions, help navigate the admissions/financial aid process and provide information about the many opportunities GHC has to offer.

The event will also serve as an opportunity for students affected by the closure of ITT Technical Institute in Douglasville to discover what options and opportunities there are at GHC by attending this event. GHC Registrar Sandie Davis will be on hand at this event to answer questions, as well as serve as the primary point of contact for ITT students who may have further questions moving forward.

The GHC Fall Expo is free and open to the public, however, the public is asked to RSVP via the online form at forms.highlands.edu/douglasville for GHC’s planning purposes. GHC employees who will be working at the event do not need to RSVP via the online form.
