Equality Alliance and Student Life are sponsoring the “Who Is Matthew?” event, scheduled for March 10th at Noon in the Student Center on the Cartersville campus. We will be screening the Laramie Project, a film about the aftermath in the town of Laramie, Wyoming when a U. of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard, was tortured, beaten and left for dead simply because he was homosexual. After the screening, Equality Alliance will lead a discussion. Student Life will provide popcorn, soda and water and t-shirts. We encourage all to attend, and for the faculty to grant extra credit to students who attend (we will have an extra credit sign in sheet). For more information, please feel free to contact me.
