Green Highlands 8th Annual Spring “Green” Service Trip

Green Highlands will camp, give back to our local community & plan spring club events during our 8th annual Spring Green Service Trip, M-W of Spring Break (March 28-30th).

GHC Green Highlands members will camp at Floyd’s Landing (Euharlee Road, Cartersville) on the banks of the Etowah River and conduct a river clean-up.
Students must provide your own camping gear. 20 kayaks will be provided on a first come, first serve basis for the river clean-up. The river clean-up is slated for Tuesday, March 29th (weather permitting). You must register by signing up at the link below.

If you have your own boat and still want to camp, please register for the B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Boat) slot! Shuttle service will be provided for all river clean-up volunteers.

Green Highlands will provide food for grilling for lunch and dinner during the service trip. Students should be prepared to bring water, breakfast foods and snacks for camping.

Meeting and launch times will be communicated on the volunteer signup page as they are confirmed.
