Behind Deana Blankinship’s 16 points and 12 rebounds the Lady Chargers roll to a 61-45 conference win over the Lady Tigers of Andrew College at home and secure their third straight trip to the GCAA Conference tournament. “We had a tough night shooting the ball but we had a great effort on the glass, we really rebounded the ball well. We had to battle foul trouble but found a way to get it done”, said Lady Charger head coach Brandan Harrell. GHC outrebounded Andrew College 46-24.
The Lady Chargers were led by Deanna Blankinship with 16 points, Aujana Dawkins with 13 points, and Michaela Suttles with 11 points and 13 rebounds.
The win pushes GHC record to 14-14 on the season and 11-5 in GCAA Conference play.
GHC travels to Central Georgia Technical College on Saturday , tip off 1:00pm.
