Make plans now to join in the fun and support a worthy cause at the annual Cartersville Has Heart, 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, March 7th at the Cartersville Student Center.

Sponsored by the Cartersville Medical Center, Harbin Clinic, Georgia Bone and Joint, and Georgia Highlands College, all proceeds will benefit the Good Neighbor Homeless Shelter.

Advance registration is $25 and $35 on event day. Go to Active.com for advance online race registration. Event day registration goes from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and the race begins at 9 a.m.

All runners will receive a race t-shirt and bag. Medals will be awarded for the male and female winner from several of age categories.

GHC volunteers are welcome to help with registration, provide assistance to runners, and cheer them on during the race. Volunteers will also receive a free t-shirt. Contact Leslie Johnson,ljohnson@highlands.edu if you would like to volunteer.
