CARE System for Students

Do you have a difficult student yet?

GHC’s Student Support Services has established a proactive, prevention-based early intervention system for at-risk students called CARE (Campus Assessment, Response, and Evaluation). By using CARE system, you will help keep our campus safe by actively responding to distressed and disruptive behavior by students and other members of our community.

The goals of the CARE team are:

· Provide consultation and support to faculty, staff and administrators in assisting students

· Assess situations

· Recommend intervention strategies or disciplinary sanctions

· Connect students with resources

· Monitor ongoing behavior of students who have displayed concerning behavior

As part of the GHC family, if you see behavior or experience a situation with a student that is concerning and you would like someone to follow up, you may submit the incident as a CARE ticket at:

Please view the power point for more information about how/when to report.

All the best,
