An issue has been identified with the Find a Doctor online tool located on the BCBSGa microsite ( www.bcbsga.com/usg).  When a member performs a provider search, the site should automatically provide the correct network based on the healthcare plan the member is enrolled in. This functionality is not working properly on USG’s BCBSGa microsite. This impacts any USG member who is trying to search for a provider by logging into the BCBSGa microsite.

BCBSGa is working to resolve this issue and the error is scheduled to be fixed early next month.  In the meantime, we have partnered with BCBSGa to update the USG microsite with direct links to networks by plan name.  This enhancement will give the members the ability to easily click their plan type which will automatically pull in their in-network providers. From the home page of www.bcbsga.com/usg (before member login) the member will be able to click on the Find a Doctor tab below to see the enhancement:
