GHC November 11th Recognition Breakfast

On Tuesday, November 11th, President Green and a group of GHC employees met at Heritage Hall for a light breakfast to recognize and celebrate work well done. Sixteen employees were recognized for contributing to the successful audit that GHC’s Nursing organization received from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Those employees are Pat Vincent, Deidre Harp, Charlene Jablonski, Barbara Cozby, Rebecca Maddox, Elijah Scott, Susan Vines, Karin Bennedson, Todd Jones, Renva Watterson, Jeff Davis, Rob Latrello, Leonard Hall, Angie Wheelus, Janet Alexander and Jeff Linek.

Other employees were recognized for their nomination to the Chancellor’s Excellence Awards. Those employees are Outstanding Individual Tom Harden – who received numerous Caught in the Act of Great Teaching awards during the year and Lyric Sprinkle – Caught in the Act of Great Customer Service and Caring Awards; Information Technology, Athletics and Libraries for Outstanding Team; David Mathis and Elijah Scott for Outstanding Leader; GHC 411 Ticketing System and Libraries for Outstanding Process – Increased Service to Students (with the ticketing system placing silver statewide); Libraries, Human Resources and Student Support Services for OPIA – Increased Effectiveness and Efficiency; Individual Customer Services recognition for Beverly Fleming, Mary Ann Sailors, Billie Saenz and Amy Wise.

Congratulations to all of these employees for work well done and for contributing to the success and continued development of our institution.
